We are born stunt performers. Our passion for action started as youngsters, rigging king swings and zip-lines, building tree houses and racing home-crafted go-carts and horses. Using our self-taught skills we later worked in rope access which, combined with our love for telling great stories, naturally led to a career in the stunt industry. We landed our first job in 2000 and continued honing our skills in stunt rigging, stunt performance and special effects, developing our knowledge of the professional film stunt industry through many days on set and in pre- and post-production. When the opportunity to broaden our experience came up in 2011, we headed abroad and, over a series of productions, were chosen to be a part of an international core stunt crew working on major feature films, which included Men in Black International, Mission Impossible 5 and 6, The Mummy, Edge of Tomorrow and World War Z.

Through this, we learned to perform under pressure on maximum scale productions, which developed and advanced our techniques and expertise in top international level stunt performance, rigging and equipment knowledge and use in varied conditions and locations. With a desire to bring this knowledge and skill set home, we established Bailey Bros. Stunts and Rigging in South Africa in 2016. After another couple of years of working mostly with our overseas stunt crew on major productions, in late 2018 we decided to base ourselves in South Africa and focus solely on Bailey Bros. with the aim of creating a work environment at home as productive, professional, supportive and creative as that which we had experienced abroad.
